SERVICES
radii.org provides services to schools through a network of independent education and training professionals and through the facilities described below.
The objective is to complement services provided through school systems and through
the programs funded by the Australian Government.
School Consultants Network
School Consultants Network (SCN) provides a searchable database of experienced
educators who are available to support schools in whatever endeavours they are engaged
to improve learning for students.
Schools can search to see if there are consultants listed in the online database to meet their needs and forward a request to access them.
radii.org will locate a consultant for you if the database does not list one with relevant expertise.
Australasian Boys Education Network
The ABEN is a nationally co-ordinated program of professional learning and support to schools to improve the learning outcomes of boys.
Schools can use the ABEN website to request the development of programs of professional learning to meet their specific needs.
Hands-on Education Research Map for Effective Schools
HERMES has been developed to provide schools with a low-cost strategy for gathering
information from parents, teachers and students through online surveys and to develop
and administer assessments online and to integrate assessment into teaching and learning.
Teachers do NOT have to know about surveys or how to collate and present the data from surveys.
For classroom use, data from student assessments is presented for the individual student, each aspect of the learning program, and in relation to other students
in the class or training group.
A library of tests and surveys are available and others are developed in response
to school and training needs.
SCHOOLEVENT
The SCHOOLEVENT facility provides schools and training providers with
a capacity to manage the administration and related aspects of booking participants
for an event at minimal cost.
The facility handles conference payments, booking lists, badges, etc.
The facility can also be used to manage a wide range of other events, such as school concerts and school formals.
Opportunities for Consultants
Consultants with expertise and experience in education are encouraged to register their skills and background.
radii.org provides opportunities for schools to continue to access the
skills, experience and knowledge of educators who have held senior leadership positions
in schools, universities and other relevant organisations.
Educators who have retired from full-time positions, but who would like to continue to make their knowledge and expertise available to schools on a sessional basis, are particularly encouraged to register using the User Registration button on this website.
